“You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit- fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. This is my command: Love each other.” -John 15:16-17
Center United Methodist Church abides in Christ’s vine and bears fruit through our activities of service,
education, outreach, and worship:
Bible Study: Rev. Davis leads a Bible study in the fellowship hall every Thursday morning from 10:00-11:00 a.m.
Sunday School: Adult Sunday School classes are offered on Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
United Methodist Women: The UMW meet on the third Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall for Bible study, fellowship, and planning fundraising and service events.
United Methodist Men: The UMM meet each month on the third Sunday at 8:30 a.m. in the fellowship hall for fellowship and planning fundraising and service events.
Older Adults Ministry: The Older Adults enjoy fellowship through meals and programs at local churches.
Service Opportunities: We take to heart Jesus’ statement that “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:40). We serve the Lord by serving others through a variety of projects, including volunteering monthly at the local Bread Basket, providing food and shelter for homeless families in Lee County’s “Family Promise” program several times a year, and growing a variety of vegetables in our Community Garden to give away at our weekly Farmers Market (seasonal).
